My name is Jamie, I am the creator and owner of Black Box Circuits Ltd. Since a young age I have been fascinated by the world of electronics, and have always seeked as much knowledge in this ever growing industry.

I started my passion during high-school, where “Systems and Control” opened my eyes to the world of electronics and control systems. Following high-school I enrolled to Llandrillo College for a BTEC National Diploma in Electronic and Electrical Engineering. During this time I also took part in the World Skills competition, in which I came 2nd in the country.

I attained me MEng in Electronic Engineering from Bangor University. During my final year I was accepted onto the internship program at Qioptiq Ltd. Following my internship I was offered a Graduate role, and during my 8 years at Qioptiq I have worked my way to Senior Electronic Engineer.

During my 8 years (and counting), I have gained invaluable knowledge of the product lifespan, from specification writing, all the way through to assisting the production process.

Although fully dedicated to my role at Qioptiq, I have taken the step to create my own company, welcome! This new and exciting venture is a way for me to extend my expertise within electronic hardware design, and gain even more experience and variation in the industry.

I look forward to being a part of new and exciting projects, and will provide all new ventures with commitment and confidence.
